

Ride your bike on our guided tour through the city’s north side and view historic sites.

The Park Ridge Historical Society will hold a bike tour of “Park Ridge Catalog Homes” on Saturday, August 25. It will start @ 9am at the new History Center, 721 N. Prospect.
The bike tour will highlight a number of “Sears houses” along with a few other noteworthy houses.
The route is about one mile long and will last about 90 minutes while riding at a leisurely pace. The tour will stop at each home to hear a description of the house.
One stop will be where Grant Wood lived, the world famous painter of American Gothic. This was designated a Park Ridge city landmark in 2014.
Another stop will be where the actor who played Hans Solo & Indiana Jones lived before he became a famous movie star.
Space is limited to the first 20 people.

A donation of $10.00 is suggested. Light refreshments will be served.
