Historical Park Ridge Bike Hikes – June 1 Starts at 9 a.m.

Bring your bike and join us on Saturday June 1 for the Park Ridge Historical Society’s guided bike tour. We’ll meet at 9 AM next to the History Center, 721 N. Prospect Ave. – a Prospect Park. The tour will highlight a number of catalog houses (mostly Sears models) along with other noteworthy houses.
The routs is about 1 mile long and will last about 90 minutes while riding at a leisurely place. The tour will stop at each home where our guide will provide information about the house.
One stop will be where the world famous painter of American Gothic, Grant Wood, lived. This was designated a Park Ridge city landmark in 2014. Another stop will be where the actor that played Hans Solo and Indiana Jones lived before he became a famous movie star.
Reservations can be made at xxxxxxxxxx. A donation of $10.00 per person is suggested. A rain date will be determined if needed.
