Milestones of History – Campfire Girls Fountain
The Park Ridge Heritage Commission restored this fountain in 2007, while also adding a ring of granite plaques to commemorate events and people important to the history of Park Ridge since 1932. The Heritage Commission was assisted by the following to create the “Milestones of History”: City of Park Ridge, Park Ridge Park District, John D. Simms Family Foundation, Park Ridge Community Women, Park Ridge Historical Society and the Dorothy S. Walker Trust.
